John Corless - Writer and Actor

John Corless writes poetry, drama and fiction from his base in County Mayo, Ireland. His writing is often funny and always relevant. He is a vastly experienced workshop facilitator and his Creative Writing night classes in the Castlebar campus of GMIT are very popular. His poetry is a mix of political, satirical, ecclesiastical and rural and has been described as Paul Durcan meets The Sawdoctors. John is also an actor and is currently touring Ireland with 'The Pull' a comedy play he has co-written with fellow Mayoman Liam Horan.
